VIP Media has reached cooperation agreements with Chinese-language media organizations from the United States, Canada, Malaysia and Egypt at an international media forum in Tianjin, China.
VIP Media was invited to the seventh Overseas Chinese New Media Forum on 14 October, hosted by People’s Daily Overseas Edition and organized by Haiwainet and Tianjin Haihe Media Centre.
The event brought together more than 100 media representatives, academics and business leaders from five continents to discuss international media cooperation and the future of Chinese-language journalism.
The agreements aim to strengthen the exchange of news content and editorial resources between VIP Media and its international partners.
Based in Nigeria, VIP Media covers developments across China and Africa, with a focus on trade, infrastructure, technology and cultural relations.
The forum also saw Haiwainet and Tianjin Haihe Media Centre sign an agreement to establish a joint international communication platform.
Other sessions focused on China’s international vocational education partnerships, including the Luban Workshop programme in Egypt, and the overseas expansion of Chinese technology companies.
