Int’l Influencers Embark on Kunlun Exploration in Xinjiang

On August 4, 2025, organized by Xinjiang Today Media Hub and Tianshannet, the “Xinjiang in Four Seasons Encountering Kunlun” program kicked off in the Tianchi Lake, also known as the Heavenly Lake, in Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture, northwest China’s Xinjiang. Sixteen content creators and media professionals gathered here to start a 10-day journey.

Faced with the unparalleled beauty of Heavenly Lake, Canadian content creator with Slovakian origin Jan Kerekes exclaimed, “Everything is beautiful here—amazing landscape and fresh air. Just enjoy everything!”

For most of the group members, it was their first time in Xinjiang. Evgeniia Dmitrieva, a Russian who is studying in China, remarked, “China is vast, and it’s fascinating to experience different cultures. I’m really looking forward to this Xinjiang trip. I hope my videos will encourage more friends to come and explore Xinjiang!”
