Changzhou Draws Global Investors and Talent with a Business-Friendly, Liveable Environment

Changzhou in east China’s Jiangsu Province is strengthening its reputation as a leading destination for global investment and international talent, thanks to its strong industrial base, efficient business environment, and high quality of life.

The city is home to more than 3,000 foreign-invested enterprises, with 107 Fortune 500 companies operating 216 projects. Major international firms, including Germany’s Thyssenkrupp and Switzerland’s Ypsomed, have expanded operations in Changzhou, citing its mature industrial ecosystem and responsive government support.

Beyond business, Changzhou has become an attractive place to live for over 4,000 foreign residents. The city promotes cultural exchange through international events, sports, and community programmes while offering convenient public services, modern recreational facilities, and multilingual support.

With its blend of economic opportunities, inclusive governance, and comfortable living conditions, Changzhou continues to emerge as a preferred destination for global businesses and professionals.
