Horgos, in China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is rapidly growing into a major international trade hub, attracting entrepreneurs from Central Asia and Europe with efficient customs services, strong business support, and improved public amenities.

Faster customs clearance, including dedicated green channels for agricultural products and streamlined procedures for new energy vehicle exports, has boosted cross-border trade and logistics. The city has also pioneered multilingual cross-border livestreaming, helping businesses reach consumers across Central Asia and Europe.

Supportive policies, including dual-currency payment systems, modern business facilities, and training for entrepreneurs, have encouraged foreign investment and strengthened commercial activity. Improved education, community services, and assistance for international residents have also made Horgos an attractive place to live and work.

As trade continues to expand, Horgos is evolving from a border gateway into a welcoming international business center where many foreign entrepreneurs now see not only opportunity, but a place to call home.
