Chinese robots are attracting worldwide attention for combining advanced performance with competitive prices. Their recent appearance on America’s Got Talent, where Unitree humanoid robots performed synchronized backflips with dancer Wu Yufei, highlighted the rapid progress of China’s robotics industry.

China exported robots worth 11.32 billion yuan in the first quarter of 2026 to 148 countries and regions, with Chinese-made humanoid robots leading the global market. Industry experts attribute their affordability to China’s complete manufacturing supply chain, cost-efficient production, and technologies shared with the country’s thriving new energy vehicle sector.

Supported by a large pool of STEM talent, rapid product innovation, and extensive real-world applications across industries, China’s robotics industry continues to improve quality while lowering costs, making advanced robotic technology increasingly accessible to global consumers.
