Yiwu, in east China’s Zhejiang province, continues to attract foreign entrepreneurs, with more than 10,000 foreign-invested businesses and about 38,000 overseas merchants living and working in the city.

Business owners from countries including Senegal, Yemen, Nepal, Pakistan and Brazil credit Yiwu’s efficient trade network, supportive business policies and digital innovation for helping them expand from trading into manufacturing, branding and global distribution.

The city’s modern business ecosystem, strengthened by digital trade platforms, AI-powered solutions and entrepreneur support services, has enabled foreign investors to grow their businesses while becoming part of the local community.

As Yiwu advances its transition from traditional commerce to digital trade, it continues to reinforce its reputation as the “world’s supermarket” and a leading destination for international business and investment.
