China’s knowledge-intensive service exports are expanding rapidly, driven by strong demand for digital technology, business solutions and intellectual property services.
In the first five months of 2026, China’s service exports grew 21 percent year on year, while computer and information services, business services and intellectual property services contributed 45 percent of overall export growth.
Chinese companies are increasingly taking integrated services overseas, from drone-based agricultural solutions in Central Asia and intelligent vehicle systems to multilingual translation and cultural localization.
The trend highlights China’s growing expertise in technology-driven services and its expanding role in global markets.
