China’s Strong Economic Growth Boosts Global Confidence

China’s economy expanded by 4.7 percent year-on-year in the first half of 2026, reaching 69.57 trillion yuan ($10.27 trillion), demonstrating resilience despite global economic uncertainty.

Growth was driven by high-tech manufacturing, artificial intelligence, renewable energy, and expanding international trade. High-tech manufacturing output rose 13.3 percent, while AI-related industries recorded growth of over 30 percent.

China also strengthened its role in global trade, with total imports and exports increasing 16.9 percent year-on-year. The country’s continued economic stability, technological innovation, and commitment to opening up are reinforcing global confidence and creating new opportunities for international cooperation.
