A severe heatwave across Europe has triggered a surge in demand for Chinese-made cooling appliances, highlighting the importance of China-Europe trade cooperation.
According to the report, portable air conditioners and electric fans from China have sold out in parts of Belgium, France and other European countries as consumers seek affordable and energy-efficient cooling solutions.
The report says Chinese manufacturers have met growing demand by offering innovative products suited to Europe’s older buildings, where traditional air conditioning systems are difficult to install.
