China’s stable energy sector continues to support resilient economic growth despite ongoing global energy market volatility, according to a People’s Daily report.

The country has strengthened its energy security through increased oil and gas production, strategic reserves, and expanded renewable energy development. Long-term energy planning has also supported the growth of emerging industries, including artificial intelligence.

China remains a global leader in clean energy, supplying more than 80 percent of the world’s photovoltaic modules and 70 percent of wind power equipment. Rising exports of green products, including lithium batteries and wind turbines, further highlight the country’s growing role in promoting global energy cooperation and economic stability.
