Speaking at the competition themed ”One World, One Family,” Counsellor Yang stated that the contest reflected a shared vision of harmony and cooperation between the two countries.

Language is a bridge between civilizations and a bond that unites hearts and minds. By expressing your thoughts and emotions in fluent Chinese language, every one of you is giving expression to the spirit of ‘One World, One Family,’ he stated and continued.

‘’As participants, you are not only learners of the Chinese language, but also inheritors and witnesses of our friendship as countries, and you carry with you the profound hopes of our two peoples for greater understanding and cooperation,” he noted.
