American professor Francis Stonier, who teaches at Southwest University in Chongqing, has built a life in China over nearly seven years.

Beyond developing localized STEAM education frameworks and utilizing innovative teaching methods, he gained widespread recognition and the moniker “Chongqing brother” after volunteering to assemble rescue equipment during the 2022 Jinyun Mountain wildfires.
