Under the Global Development Initiative (GDI), China has partnered on more than 2,000 projects in more than 120 countries to advance the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Highlights include funding health, technical training, and agricultural projects such as Luban Workshops in Ethiopia and child nutrition programs in Laos.

Mobilizing over $23 billion through its project pool and raising the Global Development and South-South Cooperation Fund to $4 billion, China aims to launch another 2,000 small-scale welfare projects over the next five years to bridge development gaps and promote inclusive global growth.
