Jingdezhen, China’s renowned “porcelain capital,” has been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List as the world’s first heritage site dedicated to porcelain craftsmanship.

The recognition highlights the city’s more than 1,000-year-old ceramic industry, covering every stage of traditional porcelain production from raw materials to manufacturing.

With advanced conservation efforts, digital technology and cultural tourism, Jingdezhen is preserving its rich heritage while inspiring new generations and strengthening its role as a global center for ceramic art and cultural exchange.
