S&P Reaffirms China’s A+ Sovereign Credit Rating

S&P Global Ratings has affirmed China’s sovereign credit rating at A+ with a stable outlook, signalling global confidence in the nation’s high-quality economic development. Despite recent geopolitical and environmental challenges, China’s economy has demonstrated strong resilience entering its 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026–2030).

Key indicators show solid momentum: industrial value added grew 5.3% year-on-year from January to July, the services index rose 4.7%, and foreign trade exceeded 30 trillion yuan ($4.46 trillion).

With 109 major national projects underway, China continues to expand market access, supporting global supply chains and economic stability.
